Axelrod compares Carrie Prejean to a dog

Senior Presidential Adviser David Axelrod compared Miss California to a dog during a quiz show on NPR.
The president’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, will be featured on this weekend’s edition of NPR’s quiz show “Wait wait … Don’t Tell Me” during the show’s “Not My Job” feature.
During the segment, Axelrod compares Miss California, Carrie Prejean, to a dog. From Politico:
A former journalist known for his snappy sound bites, Axelrod kept up with jokes on everything from the president’s “perfection” (“The only suggestion he rejected was when I asked him to put on a mole”) to the recent flap over Carrie Prejean’s beauty pageant comments.
When Axelrod was asked if he had weighed in on the Obama family’s dog choice, “the Rasputin in this kingdom” (as Sagal jokingly refered to him) sassed back, “I was only called in for the final three, and one was Miss California.”

The question had nothing to do with beauty pageants, Prejean or gay marriage — Axelrod just jumped in with it.
