Barack Obama and Joe Biden will send us all to college!
Vice President Joe Biden told fifth graders at Bellevue Elementary School in Syracuse, N.Y., that he and Barack Obama would send them all to college, even if they didn't have the money for tuition.
While speaking to a group of students at Bellevue Elementary School in Syracuse, N.Y., Veep Joe Biden promised to open up the checkbook and pay for everyone to go to college.
How wonderful! Well, when you don’t consider how much that’s actually going to cost. Maybe he meant beauty school.
Here’s what he said (in a pretty condescending, “I don’t know how to speak to kids” tone):
How many of you kids want to go to college? Well, guess what? Barack Obama and Joe Biden are going to make sure that every single one you who qualify are going to get to go to college even if you don’t have the money in your family to go. We’re going to make sure you get there.
Again, that’s wonderful if you leave out the cost (maybe we’ll skip those remedial math courses) and the fact that not everyone should go to college.
